Applies only to used bikes: does not apply to new bikes or bespoke bicycles.

Money-back guarantee terms and conditions: If you are not satisfied with your used bike purchase you may return it in clean, undamaged condition within seven days to receive a full refund. The bike must be completely undamaged, unaltered, and as clean as it was when purchased. Does not affect your statutory rights.

Warranty on materials and workmanship

All new bikes come with a 12-month warranty, and all but the cheapest used bikes come with a warranty (please see the individual details of each used bike for details, warranties are usually 3-month, 6-month of 12-month).

Warranty terms and conditions: If a component should fail due to faulty materials or workmanship within the warranty period stated, the component will be replaced free of charge. You (the owner) are responsible for the return of the bicycle to Jake's Bikes for any work to be carried out. This warranty does not cover consumable items such as tyres and inner tubes or brake blocks and pads, nor does it cover wear and tear: components such as chains, chainrings, cables, and eventually wheel rims will wear out under prolonged and heavy use. No liability is accepted for damage caused through neglect, improper use, lack of regular servicing, road accident/collision, or anything other than faulty materials or workmanship. This guarantee covers the bicycle only, Jake's Bikes cannot be held liable for any other loss or damage or personal injury. Does not affect your statutory rights.

Free servicing

All new bikes come with a free 2-month service, and all used bikes come with a free 2-week tune-up meaning that you can bring the bike back to us within a fortnight of purchase for any minor adjustments, changes, or if you have any questions or queries.

Tune-up and free servicing terms and conditions: Offer excludes the cost of any replacement consumable items or parts, which must be paid for in full. It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact me and arrange the service within the time period specified. You (the owner) are responsible for the return of the bicycle to Jake's Bikes for any free servicing work to be carried out. Offer of free servicing lapses after stated time period has expired. Does not affect your statutory rights.
