We run an appointments system just like a car garage: you telephone to arrange a viewing or book your bike in for a service, and we put it in the diary. We do not welcome drop-ins: please make an appointment first. We do not arrange bookings by email so please call or text the phone number below to make an appointment.

See the used bikes page for our current stock, and please do not email or call to find out what else we have in stock: all bikes which are ready for sale are listed on the used bikes page and the website is updated daily. Being second hand, we can never predict what will be available for sale next week or next month, but you could try our bike finder service to receive an email as soon as a bike of your type becomes available.
Nowadays we never sell used bikes for less than £100, and typically our used bikes are between £125 and £175. Please see the What to Spend document for further advice, and have a look to see if there are any used bikes available for sale at the moment.
For a rough indication of prices for servicing and repair work please see the Servicing and Repair Prices page. However, without seeing your bike we cannot provide an accurate estimate of repair price, so please phone us to arrange to bring your bike to the workshop for a free estimate.
Due to the large volume of correspondence received we are unable to deal with emails and calls which don't directly relate to Jake's Bikes. Please do not call simply to request general information or advice if you have no intention of actually using our services, unfortunately we just don't have the time or resources to operate a free advice hotline.
