Dawes Galaxy
Utility bike for rural Wales
This bike was commissioned by a customer with unusually long legs and chronic neck pain, meaning that he finds it difficult to get hold of bikes which are tall enough for his legs, but short enough to have the handlebars sufficiently close to the saddle to avoid craning of the neck.
The use of a frame which has a longer seat tube than top tube goes some way towards solving the problem. Long cranks, a high but short stem and riser handlebars finish off the bike perfectly.
