Do you have a trusty old bike languishing in the shed or the attic, ripe for reconditioning and a return to active service? Or perhaps a relative who would like nothing better than to see their favourite bike restored and used by the next generation of the family?

Different levels of restoration are possible, from the cost-effective overhaul and servicing of a bike which has simply not been used for a while, to the complete restoration to pristine condition of a classic bike. Full restoration is not a cheap process, and the repainting and restoration work required on a bike which is badly rusted or damaged will probably run to many hundreds of pounds. However, if you have a family heirloom which is of infinite sentimental value, you may well view the cost as being a small price to pay.
