Jake's Bikes has moved just down the road

Jake's Bikes has become one of the first tenants of a new urban eco centre on Stokes Croft. The Coexist project, which will grow to include a cafe, a drop-in energy efficiency advice centre and artists studio space, is based in former office block Hamilton House.
The move comes exactly one year after Jake's Bikes opened for business at the old workshop on Shaftesbury Avenue, Montpelier. During the course of this year the operation has quickly grown from a part-time occupation for Jake to being a full-time business, due to employ a second mechanic in spring 2009.
